Most new office products look great in the sales brochure but what will they look like in your office?

In the past, companies sometimes didn't find out the answer to that question until the day they moved in - and by then it was too late to change anything because everything had been bought and paid for!

Not any more!

Using the latest computer graphics technology enables Metric to let you visual and change your new working environment in real-time.

If you like the colour of your new desks but think they'll look better with a different colour carpet and chairs, you can see the effect instantly.

Scott Maynard is responsible for autocad design at Metric. He explains: "Once we've completed a site visit and recorded all of the

measurements we require, we begin by
producing a two-dimensional outline plan that shows the office layout and where furniture and storage will be located. Our customer then gets the opportunity to discuss any changes they wish to make.

"The next step is to translate the 2D drawing into a 3D image that really helps the customer visualise what it will be like to work in the new environment. We can also show the office in natural daylight or when it is dark outside to show the effects of lighting."

And if you still want to see more, Metric can now take customers on a 'virtual walkthough' of their new workspace.

'Metric has always supplied our office furniture and its service has been superb. When they launched their interiors service, we invited them to quote for our branch refurbishment programme and we found their costings to be very competitive. So far they have completed eight out of our 40 branches and they have been superb again, highly responsive and
always met our deadlines. I am very happy to recommend Metric. We look forward to working with them again in the future.'
